7. How to show the badge count on app icon?

You have some options in the badge count section in the Launcher options > Behavior.
There are 3 options to make it get notifications.

-  Notifications: It will let you enable Total launcher to make it access notifications. It delivers the notification messages from the status bar to the proper app icon on layouts, app drawer and app group. Since the count retrieved from the notifications, it might not be accurate generally.

- Unread Gmails: It will count unread emails directly from Gmail inbox. You should allow some permissions to make it work. This shows the accurate count on Gmail app even when "Notifications" is turned off.

- Third party APIs: Some apps support unofficial badge counts APIs (Android framework defines no API for badge count at all). These API was defined differently by device manufacturers or famous 3rd party launchers (such as ADW launcher). A few apps and stock apps support these APIs.

8. Why are the permissions required so much?

It's because all of them are needed to implement such great features. Please read the following link to know where the permissions are used.

I never interest in your personal information at all.

9. Is there any way to reduce used RAM?

Basically, this launcher uses very small memory in default settings.
The amount of used memory (RAM) depends on how many images and widgets (especially 3rd party widgets) you are using. The more images and widgets require the more memory.
There are 2 suggestions to save the memory:

- Put some heavy widgets into a window. The widgets will be created only while the window is open.
- Use jpg/jpeg image instead of png image. It uses only 1/2 memory of png image.

10. How to change the metric system (°C/°F, meter/mile...)?

Just toggle off/on "Use US customary units" in the behavior section of the home options.

11. I cannot uninstall it. How?

If you activated it as a device administrator to use "screen lock" feature, you must deactivate it first in system settings > security > device administrators. Or you can easily do it just by pressing the "deactivate" button on the app page of Google Play app.

12. It seems to consume a lot of battery.

Basically, this app does nothing in background. If your battery has drained faster than before, there would be another reason. The best way to find out the reason is to check the "battery usage" report in the system settings. It shows you how much battery is consumed by each app or module.

13. How to reset the password?

Just leave the input field blank when you set the password again.

14. I've already made a purchase and it doesn't apply. Why?

All of your purchases are bound to your Google Account and should be applied on all devices using the same account. If not, you may be using multiple accounts, or it may be due to an error of the Play Store app. Please try the following steps:
Step 1, clear your data and cache of the "Play Store" (NOT Total launcher!) app and reboot your device
Step 2, open the Play Store app and check if it's signed in with the account you used to make the purchase
Step 3, reboot your device
If the issue persists after this, please contact us at the developer email.

Imagine It. Make It!

Total launcher is the most customizable launcher in Android world. Of course, it is still fast, light and easy to use if you blow away stereotypes about the launcher. Do you like a simple home? That's it. Do you like a beautiful home? That's it too. Do you like a smart home? Here is the solution. Is there no home launcher you want? Make it with this. Whatever you want for home, this is it. I would like to tell you just one phrase. "Press and hold it to edit it" You can customize it, whatever it is. The main features of this launcher are:

How to Customize Your Search Screen

There are 2 types of search screens in Total launcher, which are open by the launcher actions: App search and Contact search. App search screen Many users often ask me how to customize the design of these screens. So, I'd like to explain how to do it here.  You should know first how the launcher action (ex: App search) works. When you invoke the launcher action, the launcher tries to search a most top app drawer widget. If the launcher has found an app drawer widget, it would be used to show the search results. Otherwise, it opens the built-in window with an app drawer in the screenshot. As you guess out now, since you cannot change the design of the built-in window, you should make a your own window instead. Here's the steps for the solution. 1. make a new window. 2. put an app drawer widget onto it. 3. customize the design of the window and the widget. 4. set "Action on open" to the launcher action (App search) in the window options. 5. open the window for your own...
