There are 2 types of search screens in Total launcher, which are open by the launcher actions: App search and Contact search. App search screen Many users often ask me how to customize the design of these screens. So, I'd like to explain how to do it here. You should know first how the launcher action (ex: App search) works. When you invoke the launcher action, the launcher tries to search a most top app drawer widget. If the launcher has found an app drawer widget, it would be used to show the search results. Otherwise, it opens the built-in window with an app drawer in the screenshot. As you guess out now, since you cannot change the design of the built-in window, you should make a your own window instead. Here's the steps for the solution. 1. make a new window. 2. put an app drawer widget onto it. 3. customize the design of the window and the widget. 4. set "Action on open" to the launcher action (App search) in the window options. 5. open the window for your own

ReplyDeleteI would like to make some suggestions for adding new features.
I am loving Total Launcher and the fact that there are many customization options, but I would like to make some suggestions such as:
* Showing a number indicating the current volume level. Just like it is already done with the screen brightness.
* Showing a number indicating the current consumption in watts of the battery while charging. Helps to know if the charger is working normally.
* Showing a number indicating the current battery level of a device connected to Bluetooth.
* Being able to adjust the radius in more functions such as in sliders, for example, making a slider more rounded for a modern design.
* Grouping including third-party widgets and included Widgets, for example, grouping a graphic of the function of turning on Bluetooth with the media controller widget (music player)
* Action of turning the flashlight on and off.
* Function to hide the cover of a music album or to leave it still without effect for the media controller. Recently I use an image as a background but it does not have the function to show the name of the song being played.

I have a serious question. Is there an up to date version of Total Launcher that will work on the new Apple iphone 16 pro max? Thinking of upgrading my phone and I don't want to give up Total Launcher. I've had it for so many years that I've lost count.
ReplyDeleteI have been using total launcher for years upon years now.. I started out with your previous launcher and rolled over to total launcher. Only recently have I started getting an error where it fails to check the license. I never actually purchased the license key directly but I believe I was grandfathered in with having purchased the previous launcher and it's key, if I remember correctly. Please help me fix this licensing issue.
